lipid bilayer（脂质双层）：由两层脂质分子（主要是磷脂）排列形成的薄膜结构，亲水“头部”朝向水环境，疏水“尾部”相对向内。它是细胞膜和许多细胞器膜的基本骨架，具有屏障、选择性通透与承载膜蛋白等功能。（在不同语境下也可泛指“膜的双层结构”。）
